Kraut Canning

We will be canning kraut this Saturday, August 11 beginning at 8:00 am under the pavilion.  Lots of help is needed, no experience necessary.  We will train you on the spot.  If you can’t make it at 8:00 am, please come as soon as you are available.  We are usually finished by noon.

Kraut Packing

Thank you to everyone who came out to help pack cabbage for sauerkraut.  We had many volunteers – both young and not so young.  We were finished in a little over an hour – proof that many hands make light work.  Please mark your calendar for Saturday, August 11 – we will be canning the kraut on that day.  We will begin at 8 am.  If you can’t make it at 8 am, please come as soon as you are available.  We are usually finished by noon.
