This Saturday, August 8 beginning at 8:00 am – we need many, many volunteers to help!! To our many new parishioners, this is a great activity for the entire family and a wonderful way to meet your fellow parishioners!! If you can’t make it at 8 am, please come as soon as you are available. (We are usually canning until about noon.)
Many, many lbs. of cabbage was recently packed into crocks as the first stage of sauerkraut begins. In several weeks parishioners will gather to can the kraut for sale at Germanfest. The kraut is a crowd favorite and usually sells out, so come early to purchase your kraut at the Country Store.
Registration has begun for all 11th & 12th graders who have not received the sacrament of Confirmation. Classes begin Sunday, August 16, 9:30-10:30 am in the Youth Center.

Parishioners, please consider canning homemade jams, jellies, pickles, figs, whatever your specialty is to donate to the Germanfest Country Store. These are always big sellers and we have guests who come far & wide just for our homemade canned goods! In addition, we need arts & crafts, handmade quilts & baby items, jewelry, etc. to sell in the Country Store.
You’re invited to our Parish Family Picnic & Movie Night this Friday, July 10 beginning at 6:00 pm on the church grounds near the pavilion. Hot dogs, chips & homemade ice cream are on the menu. There will be a kid-friendly movie in the Parish Hall. Bring your lawn chairs & blankets and whatever outside games or toys your children might enjoy. We have bubbles & glow sticks for the kids and fireworks to cap off the evening.
VBS begins Monday, June 15 and continues thru Wednesday, June 17, 8:30 am – 11:30 am, must be entering K-5 thru 4th grade Fall 2015. Registration continues thru this Sunday, June 14. Our theme this year is “Win the World for Jesus!”
The Parish Office will be closed Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day.

All 2015 High School and College Graduates are invited to attend this special Mass in their honor on Sunday, May 17 at 5:00 pm. Our Youth group will be hosting a party featuring dinner and live music under the pavilion behind the Parish Hall immediately following Mass. Graduates and their family & friends are invited!!
